Parchment Craft  |  July 2009
Butterflies are an extremely popular subject matter wih both the readers and contributing designers of Parchment Craft magazine and they are prominent in this issue too with three different variations on the theme.
The first, and also this month’s cover piece has been designed by Claire Victory; which is a white work card and features a 3D butterfly embellishment (Page 6). It’s supported by card designs from Maureen Kille (Page 26), a design which includes 3D coloured butterflies and this month’s Talent Spotter Gitte S. Nielsen (Page 46) who has worked the majority of her card on a grid.
If you’re one of the many parchment crafters who sometimes finds it difficult to create ribbon pieces then please refer to Page 36, where your workshop this month is a guide to crafting ribbons from parchment.
Finally, can I say a big thank you to everybody who visited the Parchment Craft stand at the Pergamano® International exhibition in Bristol at the end of May. It was great day out and a privilege to meet so many readers and parchers alike.
