Parchment Craft  |  November 2011
Selecting the projects for this issue was something of a dilemma as I received so many wonderful pieces of work, from all around the world. However, I’m delighted with the final choice, and I’m thrilled to bring to you a selection of cards along with a handful of designs that I know you’ll fall in love with.
For those of you, who love the traditional element, turn over the page to discover the beauty of Sue McGuirk’s Twelve Days of Christmas. Based around the gifts found in the traditional verse, Sue’s created a white work card along with a co-ordinating twelve section fan. If you’re more inclined to the modern and contemporary pattern, turn to page ten and have a go at Mary G. Kerr’s With Baubles in Mind. Again, it’s a white work design; yet the pattern itself provides the opportunity for parchers at all levels to practice their cutting skills.
