A year on from the 40th anniversary vinyl of Altered Images’ Bite, vocalist Clare Grogan and her re-powered combo are celebrating their third studio album by playing it in full alongside a greatest hits set.
Released in summer 1983, Bite was the first incarnation of Altered Images’ swansong. Following on from their mostly Steve Severin-produced debut album and Martin Rushent sophomore effort, Bite paired the Glaswegians with Bowie/T.Rex collaborator Tony Visconti and Mike Chapman, who’d helped steer Blondie to megastardom.
