Why isn’t Windows 11 compatible with my supported processor?
Q My PC runs Windows 10 Home. Microsoft says support is ending, so I ran the Windows 11 compatibility check in the Microsoft PC Health Check app (www.snipca.com/53777). This tells me my PC’s Intel Core i7-7700T processor is not compatible. However, it’s on the list of Windows 11-compatible processors at www.snipca.com/53778. Microsoft Support told me only Intel i8 and above chips are supported, and couldn’t explain why its own website said i5 and i7 processors were also compatible. Can you help?
