Photoshop Timeline
Known mainly for its image editing capabilities, Photoshop has supported video editing for a long time. It comes complete with its own Timeline to which you can add multiple video clips and apply layers and transitions to your video. It contains most of the important tools you need to work with video, including trimming and splitting. Everything is controlled from the Motion workspace (Window Menu >Workspaces >Motion) where you turn the Photoshop Timeline on and off. Take a look on writers/timeline for a mini tutorial about the Photoshop video editing environment.
