You know how it goes. You own a camera so you get roped into photographing events for friends and family. Your invite is usually wrapped up with taking the ‘professional’ photos instead of the usual phone shots. You can only use what you have, and that may be the built-in flash on the camera or a basic external flash. Off you go, getting the whole event in a dark room where the flash is a must, even with great ISO noise control on the camera.
