Hindsight is 2022
The end of a year hits differently when you’re making magazines. A short deadline means that, as most of our peers look back, we’re focused more on what’s immediately in front of us. Still, the annual awards debate has allowed us some room for reflection; likewise Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration. Although in the latter case we’re not thinking about what’s happened over the past 12 months but how games have evolved over the past five decades.
