Fin, a cute but restless bug, seeks a new game to play – having grown weary of waiting for Storyworld (Venwave’s ongoing project) to open. A kindly fairy’s attempts to appease Fin with alternatives lead to an episodic romp through a variety of colourful worlds that see our diminutive hero unlock a range of powers, from transforming into hovering bumblebees and hopping rabbits to turning invisible and turning day to night. Its ultimate message – about living in the moment rather than looking to the horizon – is delivered with disarming sweetness, while the effort invested in the rhythm and inflection of Fin’s squeaky speech sounds pays off handsomely in multiple rib-tickling line deliveries.
