SPECIAL THANKS TO...
ADAM LEVINE
DAY OF THE FIGHTDIRECTOR JACK HUSTON ON PAVI N G THE WAY TO JOE PESCI
JOE PESCI HAS appeared in just two movies in the last few years. There’s The Irishman, of course, for which we have to thank Martin Scorsese. And there’s Jack Huston’s directorial debut Day Of The Fight, in which Pesci makes a memorable and mute cameo as a man struggling with dementia. And for that we have to thank, of all people, Adam Levine. Yes, the guy from Maroon 5. What gives, Jack Huston? “My wife’s very close with his wife, and we went over to his house,” Huston tells Empire. “And he gave me some earphones and said, ‘I’ll give you $100 if you can tell me who’s singing.’”
