A Lochaber music tutor was banned from driving for three years and fined £720 when she appeared this week at Fort William Sheriff Court. Anne Barbara Maclean, of Loch Morar House at Beoraid, pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving at Glefi nnan Railway Station car park on August 19, 2018.
Maclean’s plea of not guilty to a further charge of failing to give police off cers information about the driver of a car at Lochailort Inn later that same day was accepted by the Crown.
Procurator Fiscal Martina Eastwood told the court it was around 1.15pm on the day of the oThence that Maclean was at the Glefi nnan Dining Car restaurant and was observed to be in what appeared an intoxicated state.
