ATher a series of tight and exciting matches at the recent Lochaber Primary Shinty Tournament, Caol emerged victorious in the P4/5 category, with Inverlochy taking the P6/7 title.
Both teams will go on to represent the area at the national fials to be held in Fort William on February 16.
In the P4/5 tournament, all the teams played each other in a round-robin competition, before the four best teams went head to head. In the first semi-fial Ardnamurchan beat Ballachulish 2-0, in a game which looked like it could go either way. Caol put in a convincing performance to beat Inverlochy 5-0 in the other semi-fial. Some great play from both teams in the fial kept the spectators entertained, with Caol beating Ardnamurchan 2-1 to take the title.
