“INSPIRE a generation” was London 2012’s tagline, and Britain’s Rio-bound national long jump champion Jazmin Sawyers is testament to the motivating effect an Olympic Games can have.
The 22-year-old was sat in the stands as a 14-year-old in Beijing and then as a national bronze medallist in London four years ago and was inspired by the performances on show on the grandest of stages.
