BORIS BERIAN has won a high-profile, David and Goliathstyle sponsorship battle with Nike on the eve of the US Olympic Trials which start on July 1.
The shoe giants have been embroiled in a much-publicised dispute with Berian in recent weeks after accusing the runner of breaking his Nike contract to join New Balance.
But last week Nike dropped its lawsuit because it wanted to “eliminate distraction” prior to the Olympic Trials.
