MAIL SHOT
ONE question hanging over the planned acquisition of the
Telegraph
titles by Daily Mail and General Trust plc group is where Lord Rothermere’s group will get the £500m from to fund it.
Earlier this month the DMGT plc group, which is owned by the Rothermere family’s Guernsey company Rothermere Continuation Ltd, sold some of its businesses to a new arm of the Guernsey set-up, Rothermere Continuation Holdings Ltd. DMGT plc received £906m in the process.
