As winter approaches the trails of the South Downs become spectacular, showing off a kaleidoscope of colours before the natural world takes its annual rest. Maverick races put you right into the heart of this magical terrain, but in a relaxed atmosphere, giving you a chance to soak up the last of autumn before the frost sets in.
Heading to their Hollycombe Steam in the Country event, nestled in the South Downs National Park, you’re greeted by an event village that’s welcoming, chilled and homely, with a camp fire to keep your friends and family toasty. With a half marathon and 10K option, all abilities are welcomed.
