TITLE-CHASING BARROW ISLAND, who had lost their previous two games, got back to winning ways with a 34-30 victory over WOOLSTON in a real seesaw thriller.
The Cumbrians, who led 16-0 after 15 minutes and 28-12 early in the second half, found themselves 30-28 down with time running out, but took the spoils with Blain Marwood’s hat-trick score on 77 minutes, and Max Anderson-Moore’s conversion.
Aidan Wright, Sam Jones and Adam Ford also crossed for the Island, who had lost 42-28 in Warrington, and Brad Marwood landed four conversions.
