SALFORD RED DEVILS stunned Warrington Wolves with a dramatic late fightback at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, scoring four tries without reply to leave coach Paul Rowley “not knowing whether to look up or down.”
A few weeks ago Salford looked in danger of being dragged into a relegation scrap but back-to-back wins have given them hopes of a play-off spot.
“It’s crazy,” admitted Rowley.
“There are a bunch of teams not knowing whether to look up or look down. We have just got to be that team that keeps turning up and getting the wins.
“I was really emotional at the end of the game. I know how hard they work and I know how much they want it.”
Salford scored four late tries without reply as they overturned a 24-8 deficit.
Jack Ormondroyd went over twice, while there was one apiece from Chris Atkin and Ryan Brierley as Warrington suffered a collapse that seriously dents their play-off hopes.
