BRAD ALL OVER!
HAVE we been treated to two of the best semi-finals in Challenge Cup history?
Leigh and St Helens played out an incredible encounter on Saturday - and Hull KR and Wigan did exactly the same, with a Brad Schneider field-goal proving the difference in a rip-roaring affair which went to golden-point extra time.
Both sides came into this tie on the back of big wins in Super League, with Rovers overcoming Leeds – ironically at Headingley – while Wigan put Warrington to the sword.
Jimmy Keinhorst, Dean Hadley and Luis Johnson dropped out of the Rovers squad from the week before, with Mikey Lewis, Kane Linnett and Elliot Minchella coming back in for Willie Peters’ side.
Wigan boss Matt Peet made just one change as Willie Isa replaced Junior Nsemba.
Rovers were, however, decimated before kick-off as Ryan Hall was forced out of the line-up, with Lewis going in at fullback and Ethan Ryan shifting to the wing.
