DEWSBURY took a further step towards clinching the title - and promotion - with a hard-earned victory.
On an error-strewn afternoon in wet conditions it was the old stagers who particularly caught the eye, with veteran stand-off Paul Sykes orchestrating the Rams to telling effect, and Carl Forster leading by example for North Wales.
Although Dewsbury were always in general control, they were nevertheless unable to quite shake off the resilient Crusaders, despite leading 14-0 at the break.
