DIVISION ONE
CROSFIELDS remain too close to the relegation zone for comfort after losing 44-16 at home to leaders WEST BOWLING, who have now won their last nine games.
The Soap, who had been seeking a third successive victory, were 16-0 down midway through the first half, having leaked a Lewis Taylor brace and a Logan Simpson try.
Wests, who had won 66-8 in Bradford, found themselves only 28-16 ahead with ten minutes left, the Warrington outfit having posted a try and a goal for Jack Lewis, with Aaron Holliday and – after Bowling’s Daniel Gregory had been yellow carded for dissent -Billy Gannon adding touchdowns and Danny Cassidy converting one score.
