Your Beginners Guide ‘Automate your smart home’ (#MF403) was invaluable. However, I seem to have come across an unspoken challenge in the installation of smart home devices which require/use Matter. The issue is associated with the Wi-Fi router which I have discovered also needs to support the protocol. The requirement is not mentioned in your article or identified on the Eve website, whose devices I have been using. If my experience is typical it would appear routers provided by ISPs are generally not compatible!
