A premium keyboard experience from a budget brand at a weird price

of Lemokey? Allow me to explain. They are, in essence, an offshoot of Keychron, a keyboard brand that's produced popular and acclaimed models such as the K2 V2 and Q3 Max. The idea with Lemokey is to make more affordable versions of Keychron favorites, as well as their own models.
The only problem is that the Lemokey L4 has been pitched at higher price than you might expect. Hold that thought. The L4 takes its riff from the Keychron Q3 Max, just without the crazy side-printed keycaps. It's a seriously hefty TKL layout keyboard that provides the benefit of a functional, space-saving layout, and is one of the heaviest machined aluminum frames out there.
