AS WINDOWS 10 NEARS ITS END OF LIFE, MICROSOFT CONFIRMS TPM 2.0 IS REQUIRED
WITH THE END OF LIFE
for Windows 10 approaching, Microsoft has confirmed that the stated hardware requirements for Windows 11 won’t go away. This relates to the necessity that devices have a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 chip. While this increases device security, market research firm Canalys has predicted that around 250 million PCs could turn into e-waste as a result of this requirement.
