Enthusiasts urged to ‘adopt a path’ to save Scotland’s mountains

AN OUTDOOR trust is seeking hill enthusiasts to adopt a path in the Scottish Mountains.

Volunteering in Scotland’s National Parks is on the rise thanks to The Mountains and The People Project which launched in the summer of 2015.

Led by the Outdoor Access Trust for Scotland, this unique five-year conservation partnership project brings together both the Cairngorms and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authorities alongside Scottish Natural Heritage, Forestry Commission Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
