Plant Powered Planet
Katt Andryskova travels around Greece to discover what it’s like as a vegan
Vegan in GREECE
Travelling means leaving the familiar and leaving the comfort of routines. It means going on an adventure. Whilst usually this is something I relish, since becoming plant based I find myself spending a lot of time worrying about where I will be able to eat.
Recently, I travelled to Greece — a country famous for its lamb, cheese and yoghurt. Landing in Athens, I was pleasantly surprised when the receptionist at the Athens Backpacker hostel immediately circled three different vegan restaurants within walking distance on the map. Since I was only in Athens for a night, I decided to check out Avocado. Perhaps the best name for a vegan eatery ever: avocados have become my lifeblood since going vegan.
