Norwich Writers’ Circle invite entries for the sixth Olga Sinclair Prize, its annual open fiction short story competition, inspired this year by the word ‘News’.
The theme celebrates the Norwich Post, which in 1701 became the first provincial newspaper to be published outside of London. The adjudicator is Norwich writer and journalist Keiron Pim.
The first prize is £500, with two runners up prizes of £250 and £100. The top ten shortlisted stories will be later published in a 2020 Anthology. A gala prize-giving evening will be held in Norwich, circumstances permitting, on 3 November.
