A RARE COMBINATION:
THE 15in gauge Bure Valley Railway celebrated the 30th anniversary of its Winsonbuilt ‘ZB’ tender locomotives on April 27. The design of these locos was based on Indian Railways’ 2ft 6in gauge ZB class 2-6-2s. Although they have been at the railway since 1994, they have very rarely been seen double-heading. This image shows BVR No. 6 Blickling Hall piloting No.7 Spitfire shortly after leaving Aylsham Tunnel.
