Visiting tank engines delight
Colourful combination provides variety at Severn Valley Railway Spring Steam Gala.
NINE locos were rostered during the Severn Valley Railway’s April 18-21 Spring Steam Gala, which included a trio of visiting engines from three corners of England.
The Bluebell Railway’s LBSCR‘Terrier’0-6-0T No. 72 Fenchurch joined the South Devon Railway’s GWR 0-6-0PT No. 1369 and North Yorkshire Moors Railway-based Lambton 0-6-2T No. 29 alongside resident performers No. 4930 Hagley Hall, No. 7812 Erlestoke Manor, No. 75069, No. 13268, No. 7714 and No. 21C127 Taw Valley.
