JAMES DASAOLU says a switch back to the basics is behind his resurgent form in 2016 after a disastrous 2015 season.
Among the pressure of the most hotly contested 100m race in recent memory at the British championships the 28-year-old held his nerve and form to secure his place on the plane to the Rio Olympics, claiming his first outdoor British title with a windy 9.93 ahead of James Ellington and CJ Ujah – his first sub-10 clocking since a 9.97 run in the semi-final at the Moscow World Championships.
