Writers often talk about where they work but where do they do their thinking? Do you have a special thinking place?
I had a horrible job to do – to write a twenty-page outline of a book I’d ghosted twenty years ago. I was trying to do it from reading the book so it was a case of reading glasses on, read a paragraph or two, reading glasses off, computer glasses on, type up notes. Repeat. This was such a hassle that I kept putting off doing this outline which had been requested by Someone Important.
