The first Airbus A321LR for Osaka/Kansai-based Peach was spotted at Hamburg/Finkenwerder on June 1 following its maiden flight. The CFM International LEAP-1A-equipped single-aisle, JA901P (c/n 10458), is set to be one of two A321LRs supplied by Air Lease Corporation (ALC). Meanwhile, Airbus stated last September that an additional four more of the European-built type – which will allow the airline to start more routes from Japan – are scheduled to join Peach, bolstering its future A321LR contingent to six. As of June 2021, the Japanese carrier fielded 34 A320s, comprising 30 ceos and a quartet of neos.
