Arlington pilot training centre opens
US-based ATP Flight School has taken a major step forward to “addressing the post-pandemic pilot shortage” by opening a new training facility in Arlington, Texas.
The state-of-the-art 13,875sq ft complex has “an advanced simulator bay” featuring several flight training devices (FTDs), including a Federal Aviation Administration-certified Level 6 Cessna 172 example, classrooms and briefing spaces. Outside, there is dedicated ramp space for the training firm’s fleet of multi-engine Piper Seminoles and Garmin G1000-equipped Cessna 172s.
