Engine, APU support agreements inked
StandardAero has revealed three separate contracts with airlines in Europe and Asia covering support for Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M engines on ATR 72 turboprops, in addition to auxiliary power units (APUs) fitted to regional aircraft types. On May 10, the MRO company was selected by Spanish-based Air Nostrum to provide support for the carrier’s PW127M-equipped ATR 72-600s. The five-year agreement covers hot section inspections (HSIs) and services from the MRO’s PW100-designated overhaul facilities in Gonesse, France and Summerside, Prince Edward Island in Canada.
