Mexican freighter boost
MEXICO CITY-BASED MasAir Cargo has forged an agreement with CDB Aviation for the long-term lease of two Airbus A330-300P2F (passenger-to-freighter) widebodies.
The duo, which are CDB Aviation’s first transaction for the type with an operator, are due to be handed over to MasAir Cargo during the “first half of 2022” and would make the Mexican company the first A330-300P2F operator in the Americas. According to Luis Sierra, MasAir CEO, the move will set the firm on a trajectory of becoming “a global player in the air cargo arena”.
