With the unfinished business of the Abba reunion wrapped up, Agnetha has acquired the taste for retracing her own footsteps. But quite why her most recent solo album has been re-recorded (sorry, ‘reimagined’) on the occasion of its 10th anniversary is unclear. The original A was a fine addition to the Abba icon’s sparse solo discography, a classy collection of songs that nodded respectfully towards her past whilst pulling off the difficult trick of sounding both modern and timeless. But someone has decided that that’s not enough.
