There’ll always be a place for artists like Kenny Thomas, a likable chap with a pure voice who made undemanding soulful pop that sounded great on FM radio. This collects all his 90s hits, plus material from an unreleased third album and assorted remixes. Detractors might dismiss this as bland, MOR fare. Indeed, there’s nothing that you could remotely describe as edgy: all the corners have been smoothly rounded. But tracks like Best Of You and Outstanding slip down as easily and enjoyably as a strawberry daiquiri during happy hour.
