Nick Rhodes has always struck me as the kind of person who marches very much to the beat of his own drum. “The idea of how Thank You was received in 1995 only makes me want to do more covers, not less,” he tells Classic Pop in our exclusive interview this issue with Duran Duran about new studio LP, Danse Macabre.
You’ve got to admire his confidence. Many bands would have headed for the hills never to be seen again following the critical drubbing that was handed out to Thank You back in the mid-90s, but Duran are undoubtedly made of stronger stuff.
