Q I have two main drives in my Windows 10 Pro PC, one called System, the other Video. When I view these in File Explorer, the System drive’s bar is red while the Video drive’s bar is blue. Can you explain why this is?

A You sent us a portion of a screenshot that was too small for us to print, but it showed that your System drive (C) had 7GB of its 119GB capacity remaining, while the Video drive (I) had 522GB of its 931GB free.
Those statistics explain what’s going on here, which is that your System drive is running out of space. The red bar is simply File Explorer’s way of warning you at a glance that a drive’s free space has dropped below 15 per cent of its total capacity (see screenshot).
