MISLEADING EE ROUTER ADVERTS BANNED
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned EE ads that claimed its Wi-Fi 7 router “makes every device work better, even yours”. However, Vodafone and members of the public complained that the ads, which ran last autumn, didn’t state that the device connecting to the router needed to be compatible with Wi-Fi 7 to get faster speeds.
