LG gram Pro
Doesn’t pull its weight
LAPTOP ❘ £1,400 from LG www.snipca.com/56137
At first glance the LG gram Pro looks remarkably similar to the MSI Prestige AI+ (£950 from www.snipca.com/55962), which is our new favourite laptop (see page 30). The most obvious difference between the two is the price, with the gram Pro costing £450 more. So what do you get for your extra money?
Wasn’t as fast as our favourite laptop, despite being £450 more expensive First, the overall design of the gram Pro is sleeker. The chassis is only 12.8mm thick when closed and weighs just 1.2kg. That’s lighter and slimmer than the Prestige – at 17.4mm and 1.9kg respectively. Each has a similar selection of connections, with the gram offering two ports compatible with USB-CThunderbolt 4 and an HDMI output on the left (pictured below), and a pair of USB 3.2 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the right.
