How can I reveal hidden passwords?
Q I often get flummoxed by passwords being hidden behind dots or asterisks. Sometimes you can click an eye icon to see them, but not always. Is there a program that can reveal these quickly? Maybe NirSoft’s BulletsPassView (www.snipca.com/56205)?

A NirSoft makes some excellent programs, but BulletsPassView works only in Windows 7 and earlier versions. Instead, we’d suggest using a password manager. That way, you won’t need to unmask hidden passwords because your password manager will fill them in for you. And if you ever need to view a password for a particular login, you can quickly launch the password manager to check it.
