Q I have a Dell laptop that sometimes suddenly says ‘low battery’ and then immediately shuts down, literally seconds after the message appears. However, this happens even when it’s plugged into the mains and showing 100-per-cent charge. This doesn’t happen when I’m browsing the web or working in Windows, but often when I’m playing games. But because I play games quite a lot, it’s frustrating. If I leave the machine off for a few minutes and then power it back up, everything is fine – until the next time. Could it be overheating?
