Enjoy the long evening out with the camera but you need to be prepared.
Pack a torch, spare batteries, camera protection and dress appropriately. Also, take care when you are out shooting. In the city, this means not wandering off the beaten track with your expensive kit, so plan shoots with friends or join a photo meet-up group. Out in the countryside, make sure you have a charged phone and let someone know when you are due home.
