PANTHERS HOPE DOUGLAS CAN DELIVER
HALIFAX PANTHERS coach Liam Finn hopes the addition of a fit-and-firing Brandon Douglas to his front-row options will help make up for the loss through injury of Will Calcott and the departure of Dan Murray to Widnes.
The Shay club opted to release ex-Salford and Hull KR prop Murray, 27, to join their divisional rivals just days before homegrown product Calcott, 26, was sidelined long-term by a knee injury which needed surgery.
