Red Devils receive fresh financial support

SALFORD have received £315,000 in "immediate" financial support from Salford City Council to see them through to the completion of a stadium deal.
The Red Devils have had wellpublicised financial difficulties recently, raising over £360,000 through a community share scheme and selling three star players for six-figure sums last year while being placed in special measures by the RFL.
