Do more with Maps

Consult travel guides and conduct virtual tours of cities

Maps on the Mac allows you to see the layout of large buildings such as airports and shopping malls.

Now that you know how togetand use directions in Maps using your iPhone, it’s time to dig deeper and see what else Maps has to offer. If stepby-step directions were all it was good for, there would be little point in having it on the Mac. Thankfully, there’s a great deal more to it than that. Curated guides are one such example. Compiled by the likes of Time Out, Culture Trip, and Lonely Planet, the guides offer insights into destinations with tips on where to eat, where to stay, and where to party. Once you’ve found a guide you like, you can add it to your favourites. And you can create your own guides with your own favourite places to go.
