UPGRADE YOUR MOUSE
What device do you prefer to see next to your keyboard?
LIKE KEYBOARDS, WIRELESS mice and trackpad input devices are preferred these days. But also like keyboards, it’s always a good idea to keep a USB model to hand in case you have a problem with your Bluetooth model. Get a cheap one second-hand, and leave it in the back of a drawer for the rare occasions when it’s needed.
Input devices come in two main types: there’s the traditional mouse, and the notebook–like trackpad. Apple has both.
The Magic Mouse comes standard with new iMac and Mac Pro models, but if you prefer a Magic Trackpad, and order your computer online through the Apple Store (www.apple.com), you can choose a Magic Trackpad instead for an extra $50. Both input devices are available to buy separately, too.
