OBAN police officers have asked motorists to remember to drive ‘slow or dead slow’ when they pass horses on the road.
Officers highlighted, in particular, the single-track road that leads from Benderloch to South Shian.
Inspector Julie McLeish at Oban police office said: ‘More than 60 per cent of incidents involving horses on the roads occur between 10am and 3pm, with June being the most common month.
