A MAN who told Oban Sheriff Court he was only dealing in cannabis ‘socially’ with friends has challenged a move to seize cash found on him when he was arrested.
Andrew MacMillan, 36, of 33a Kerrera Terrace, Oban, admitted possessing cannabis on March 1, but he said the £360 in his wallet and money at his home came from the repayment of a loan given to a friend.
Procurator fiscal Eoin McGinty said: ‘Officers had cause to speak to the accused when he was sitting in his car parked on Corran Esplanade.’
