A MAN who whistled loudly in his crying baby’s face and assaulted his former partner has been ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
At Fort William Sheriff Court on Tuesday, Aidan MacLean Stewart of Shaw Place admitted pushing his former partner and causing her fear and alarm.
The 20-year-old had been arguing with his then partner of two years on September 10 because he wanted to go to a party instead of looking after his child. The woman asked MacLean Stewart to hold the distressed baby. He put the boy on the couch and whistled loudly in his face, causing him to become more upset.
